WP Engine is excited to attend WordCamp Europe in Berlin, Germany next week (June 20-22). The event will take place at the Estrel Hotel and Congress Center and includes two full days of sessions (June 21-22) as well as a Contributor Day (June 20) .WordCamp organizers have also teased a possible guest performance during the event’s 80s themed after-party, which will take place in the hotel’s Festival Room on Saturday, June 22 at 7:00 p.m.
This year’s event is already sold out which means more than 3,000 WordPress aficionados will join us in Berlin. While enjoying the various sessions and learning opportunities, be sure to swing by the WP Engine booth, which will be located in the exhibition area across from the Google booth (booth 32 in the map below). You’ll have an opportunity to chat with some of our WordPress specialists about any and all things WordPress and WP Engine and get a chance to experience a live demo of our new product, the WP Engine DevKit.
As always, we’ll be giving away some awesome swag including a specially-made WP Engine WordCamp EU t-shirt. At the booth, you’ll also be able to enter to win a pair of Bose Bluetooth headphones. Learn Something New During Informative Workshop Sessions
This year’s WordCamp includes 15 different workshop sessions covering topics such as content, development, design, and business. These sessions are an excellent opportunity to expand on your skillset and return from WordCamp with actionable steps for improving your WordPress game. Two sessions that caught my eye were Travelling the Web on the WordPress HTTP API and The Big, Bad Content Planning Workshop. Check out the full schedule here.
Come Party with WP Engine, HubSpot, CloudFlare, and the Genesis Community
We’re also excited to host a welcome party together with HubSpot, CloudFlare, and members of the Genesis community on the first night of the event. The party will take place on Friday, June 21at the FluxBau in Berlin. Space is limited so RSVP now.
