Lucky Number Seven: WP Engine UK Earns Another Great Place to Work Certification
The certification is the seventh accolade earned by WP Engine UK since 2019
WP Engine creates the best hosting environment for our customers, and while we’re proud of the excellent service and premium WordPress products we provide, we also work hard to create a work environment that allows our employees to thrive.
WP Engine UK, which includes our London team as well as our remote workforce across the country, was recently recognized for creating and maintaining a positive workplace with certification by Great Place to Work®, the global authority on workplace culture, in the medium-sized workplace category.
This marks the seventh time our UK team has been recognized by Great Place to Work and WP Engine’s 26th certification organization-wide, and it comes on the heels of another Great Place to Work certification for WP Engine Ireland!
Some might say that British culture is a bit like a good cup of tea: It’s all about the blend. And just like a good cuppa tea, a positive work culture can really hit the spot. When you work somewhere that makes you feel valued, respected and supported, it can make all the difference. To be certified as a Great Place to Work, employers must complete a two-step process, beginning with The Trust Index™ survey, which provides a place for employees to summarize the quality of their experiences as workers within an organization.
Then, designated representatives from the organization fill out a Culture Brief, a short questionnaire about the quality of their company culture.
In order to gain certification, organizations must attain an average score of at least 65% on the Trust Index survey and submit satisfactory answers on the Culture Brief.
