What is PressConf?

PressConf was a gathering place for the movers, shakers, and dreamers in the WordPress community. The conference brought together top developers, designers, product experts, educators, business leaders, agency professionals, and web innovators to collaborate, learn, and push the WordPress ecosystem forward.

Because PressConf was entirely focused on WordPress, it was the perfect place to connect with like-minded professionals and industry leaders.

Connecting with friends, old and new

Our booth at PressConf was buzzing with activity as our leaders engaged with attendees and offered up some premium swag.

Representing WP Engine at the event were Vice President of Product Jeremy Pollock, Partner Account Manager John Housholder, Head of Community Brian Gardner, Manager of Sales Engineering Ryan Hodge, and Sr. Director of Brand & Communications Lauren Cox.

We talked with our fellow attendees about what our teams are working on and how WP Engine can support your growth on the world’s most widely used CMS.

Our leaders are excited to nurture new relationships, reinforce old friendships, and spur conversations that make WordPress better for everyone.

Schedule of events

One of the ways PressConf set itself apart was its schedule of events—one talk track, one room, everyone’s invited. The list of speakers was extensive, and even included a few former DE{CODE} presenters like Amber Hinds.

The transparent, honest discussions facilitated at PressConf are vital to WordPress’s continued growth as we all seize the opportunity to learn from the successes and struggles that have paved the path to where we are and set the stage for what’s possible in the future.

Thank you, PressConf!

Whether we met for the first time or got the chance to reconnect, we’re energized by all the connections we made at PressConf this year.

Thank you to all the organizers of this incredible event—we can’t wait to see you next year!
