Last night, WP Engine, among 20 other Austin-based startups, were honored during the eighth-annual A-List awards. During the event held at ACL in the downtown-based Moody Theater, startups were awarded according to four categories: Emerging, Growth, Scale and Culture. Recognized emerging startups have received $5M or less in funding, companies in the Growth category have received less than $20M in funding and companies in the Scale category have received more than $20M in funding. This year, companies were also recognized for excellence in company culture.

WP Engine was recognized for excellence in the culture category; WP Engine was categorized as the ‘Prelude to Exit’ in the culture category. Accepting the award were WP Engine Supercharged winners, employees who were elected by their colleagues as the embodiment of company culture. These employees were selected because they represent one or more of WP Engine’s core values consistently.
