The Clermont-Ferrand International Short Film Festival is the world’s largest international festival dedicated to short films. Held annually in Clermont-Ferrand, France, the festival boasts more than 160,000 attendees and 3,500 professionals, making it the second-largest film festival in France after Cannes.

With a host of activities surrounding the annual event, the lean staff at Clermont-Ferrand has had to juggle a lot. As their list of responsibilities continued to grow, they found that their custom-built proprietary content management system (CMS)—which they used to build their original website—was beginning to slow them down.
